Celebrate the holiday weekend with Portland's hottest breakout performing artists at the kickoff party for the Summer! It goes down July 4th and 5th for two nights featuring R&B, Hip-hop, Neo-Soul Spoken Word, and more.

Popup Hip-hop Contest winners receive a performance slot at the Backwoods Music Festival in Nashville opening for Nappy Root, & Bone Thugs & Harmony, plus airfare, accommodations, and merchandise. The first annual 4th of July Soul & Hip-Hop Popup Showcase. The event features 2 venues, 3 stages, 2 nights, plus the outside patio party. Over 25 performing artists and musicians, a Guest DJ, Music videos, and drink specials Artists 

• Alea Lore - The newcomer of the year is a multi-talented R&B, Neo Soul singer, songwriter, actress, and musician, the total package! Taking the city one show at a time, her performances and vocals are mesmerizing, spiritual, and soulful all at the same time! She is the headline artist for a reason on Saturday night, so don't miss your chance to see her live with surprise special guests!
• Seattle's Best - Reps the Emerald City with a supersonic lineup of local independent Hip-hop legends with new tracks poised to break on the national recording scene soon. Don't miss their high energy production.
• The Ladies of the Rose - This collective has produced ground-breaking shows and community events starting before, during, and post-COVID! Making a name for their non-profit and turning out incredible young talents, heating up Portland’s Hip-hop landscape.Their artists' showcase will definitely deliver!
