Conjunto Alegre has been a stable landmark of Latin music in Oregon and Washington, as they were first to introduce merengue salsa cumbia bachata to Oregon. Selected to play for Cirque du Soleil in Portland and Seattle, and has shared the stage with many international acts from Tito Puente to Gran Combo Oscar de Leon and many others.
